斯蒂芬·泰勒教授（Stephen Taylor）毕业于英国剑桥大学，主攻17-18世纪英国政治史和宗教史。曾担任英国杜伦大学历史系主任，现任杜伦大学中世纪和近代早期研究所长。代表作有National Worship from the Reformation to the Present，并在国际著名学术杂志发多篇文章。兼任Parliamentary History, Bibliography of British and Irish History, Anglican and Episcopal History, The Archbishops of Canterbury编辑委员会成员。
